In August 2025, San Miguel de Allende became the epicenter of the destination weddings and events industry with the arrival of Pillars Summer 2025 by Pillars of Production, one of the most important gatherings for professionals in production and experiential design. Over four days, the most influential names on the international scene shared their vision, knowledge, and creativity in a program that spanned conferences, panels, and celebrations that will remain in the memory of all participants.
Dulce Luna, a unique evening at Luna Escondida, conceived as an ode to the hospitality, beauty, and collaboration that define San Miguel de Allende, shone as one of the most memorable moments.
A night lit by the Moon
Hummingbird Garden, a space where nature intertwines with architecture in a romantic dialogue, was the stage for a night that brought together international industry leaders and the most talented local creators. Between cocktails, desserts, and conversations, Dulce Luna became a meeting point where bonds were woven and the spirit of hospitality and community that distinguish Pillars of Production was celebrated.
Under the direction of Lucero Álvarez Wedding Agency, San Miguel de Allende’s finest vendors delivered a display of creativity that captivated guests: mixology and coffee bars, dessert stations, live music, and a folkloric ballet performance paying tribute to Mexico’s cultural richness.
Pillars of Production: the reach of a global community
With more than four decades of experience, Pillars of Production has become an international benchmark. Its founders —Todd Fiscus, with a career that has redefined event production; Randi Ray, an expert in destination management and global operations; and Laura Franks, a financial and HR strategist in the creative industry— form the foundation of a movement that seeks to professionalize and elevate event production worldwide.
This summer, its 2025 edition, hosted in San Miguel de Allende, brought together planners, designers, producers, and creatives in a series of conferences, roundtables, and immersive experiences. The city, recognized as one of Mexico’s most romantic and cosmopolitan destinations, became the meeting point for professionals from various countries, reaffirming its relevance as a privileged stage for the luxury weddings and events industry.
Throughout the four-day event, the voices of Rishi Patel, Lisa Vorce, David Beahm, Stefanie Cove, John Hingeley, Marianna Idirin, Patrick Theriot, David Denney, Kathleen Deery, and Nancy Parragué resonated: trailblazers whose projects have set global trends, from celebrity weddings to collaborations with the most prestigious luxury houses. Their presence in San Miguel de Allende underscored not only the greatness of the destination, but also the role that venues like Luna Escondida play on the international stage.
San Miguel, a destination of romance and collaboration
More than a celebration, Dulce Luna was a statement of intent: San Miguel de Allende continues to position itself as a gathering place for creativity, luxury, and excellence in the destination wedding industry. On this occasion, Luna Escondida not only opened its doors but also became the host of a memorable chapter within a global narrative.
