The story of Laura & Santiago was born and grew in Madrid. The heart of Spain witnessed a series of encounters that, over the years, became a slowly unfolding romance. After five years together and a proposal among sun-lit vines at Finca Serena in Mallorca, their love crossed the Atlantic to find its celebration in San Miguel de Allende, México.

Their choice of Luna Escondida as the venue for their wedding came even before the choice of San Miguel as their destination. "We chose San Miguel de Allende because we fell in love with Luna Escondida from the very first moment. It felt as though it transported us to Italy — with an essence that is entirely its own," Laura and Santiago shared in an interview with Vogue Spain.

"Being surrounded by nature gave us a profound sense of peace. It was the perfect setting to celebrate our love in a way that felt intimate, intentional, and deeply true to who we are."

The celebration was shaped by the creative vision of wedding planner Alejandro Limón, who conjured "an enchanted forest in Tuscany, with Mediterranean undertones and a Spanish touch" within the imposing stone walls of Salón Luna. An earth-toned palette, softened by gentle accents, wove seamlessly into the natural textures of the ranch — drawing out the quiet beauty of its gardens and hidden corners.

"Since the venue was already incredibly beautiful on its own, we didn't want to overdo the decor or overwhelm the spaces — our intention was to honor and enhance the natural beauty of the garden."

The flavors of the evening were entrusted to the renowned Ituarte Catering. The visual narrative of the day took shape through the lens of Tipos in photography and Tan Weddings in cinematic direction. Through the work of a gifted team, what emerged was an intimate and serene celebration held within nature — marked by a sense of calm, connection, and quiet spontaneity.

The wedding of Laura & Santiago found its place in Vogue España. The prestigious publication described the celebration as an intimate gathering — intentional and deeply connected to the essence of the couple — while defining Luna Escondida, the estate where it all unfolded, as "an incredibly beautiful place in its own right."

San Miguel de Allende continues to affirm its quiet renown as a destination for those who travel far in search of something genuine. For Laura and Santiago, as for a growing number of couples from Spain and across Europe, it offered something rare: a place where the beauty of the landscape and the intimacy of the celebration become one and the same.
